Issue Summary

The .timg R10 GNSS firmware version 5.14 posted on trimble.com’s Trimble R10 product page

prior to August 9th, 2016, was the time-­locked Beta release. On August 8th , 2016, the

date expired within the firmware and any Trimble R10 running firmware version 5.14 showed a ‘Beta Bomb’

error message when connected in Trimble Access and could not be used.

Solution

The correct release version of firmware 5.14 is now posted on trimble.com’s Trimble R10 product page. To resolve the ‘Beta Bomb’ error, download the .timg firmware 5.14 available and install on the Trimble R10 GNSS receiver hardware.
